What is Colinha Digital?
Colinha Digital is an independent website that organizes official public data about Brazil's elections and politicians in plain language, so that any voter can check the facts before voting and follow what elected officials do afterwards.
What it is
It started as a tool to help voters prepare their “colinha” — the note with candidate numbers that Brazilian voters may take into the booth — and grew into a portal with five sections: Colinha (voter tools), Raio-X das Eleições (results map), Raio-X Político (profiles of politicians), Mandato Aberto (what elected officials do) and Painel Cívico (states and municipalities).
Colinha Digital is a product of Vorax Segurança Cibernética, a Brazilian technology company.
Independence and neutrality
- No ties to the Electoral Justice, political parties, candidates, campaigns, governments or polling companies.
- Every candidate gets the same page format, the same space and the same colors. Lists follow a neutral order — ballot number or alphabetical order.
- No ratings, scores or “good or bad” labels for politicians: only official data, with the source of each figure.
- User data is never used for campaigns and never shared with parties, candidates or campaigns.

Official sources
The data shown comes from public, official sources and the source is cited next to each figure:
- Superior Electoral Court (TSE) — candidacies, photos, declared assets, campaign finance, polling stations and official results.
- Chamber of Deputies — deputies, bills, votes and parliamentary allowance spending (open data).
- Federal Senate — senators, bills, votes and expenses (open data).
- Other official sources (for example, public accounts and contracts) are cited on the page where they appear.
Not an official system
Colinha Digital is not a website of the TSE or of any government body. For official information — your polling place, your voter status, official results — always check the Superior Electoral Court at tse.jus.br.
No polls or surveys
Colinha Digital does not run opinion polls, surveys or straw polls on voting intention. Any statistics about use of the site are aggregated and are not polls. Election polls mentioned on the site are only those registered with the TSE, as required by Brazilian law.
Privacy in brief
- No sign-up is needed to use the site.
- The site records technical access data (such as IP address, device and pages visited) for usage statistics and security, linked to a random code stored in your browser — not to your name.
- Choices you mark when building a colinha are never published individually.
- Precise location is used only if you allow it in your browser.
- Data is not sold or shared with campaigns, parties or candidates.
